What carnage there would be. What percentage of earth/people do you think would be wiped out?

It actually depends on their density as a solid, which would determine the destruction the masses would cause. Assuming they'd still be a liquid, they would have to be solid ice. Considering how high they are, some of the mass would be destroyed in the atmosphere on the way down to earth.

Although the physical destruction might be great, the sudden transformation of all that water vapor into a solid would seriously disrupt the water cycle on the planet, leaving any survivors in a long-term drought.

If clouds did become solid the destruction would be massive, since a single cumulus cloud weighs over 100 ton.

If they became solid, they wouldn't be nearly so large as they are now, since they'd be compressed.
I think there would be destruction and injury, even loss of life, but not on any grand scale.
The worst thing would be that without clouds, and the ability for them to float, we wouldn't have rain, which rather disrupts the water cycle we all need to survive.

Yeah that would suck, but if they became solid and still flew we could go on holiday there.
