If the bastards do this I will finally divorce myself from baseball .A 48 year relationship will have come to an end because the pencil necked bottom feeders would have sucked all the things that I love out of the game and didn't have the decency to leave a mint. When the love is gone it's time to move on.

That NASCAR is a sterilized shell of a sport that began with bootleggers out -driving the feds and now it's about pretty boys with good teeth and good diction and cars that are stock in name only. You can't walk into your local Chevy dealer on Monday order the car you saw race on Sunday anymore -at one time you could.
And now baseball with all of it's traditions & records is going to become just another reason to market a product we don't need anyway.

I do not think that the World Series should be the best of nine games. I do agree with the neutral site and I think that the World Series should have Game 7 at a neutral site at a halfway point between the two cities in either a major or a AAA ballpark of the International League or Pacific Coast League. For example, if the World Series was between the Detroit Tigers and the Atlanta Braves, if there was a game seven, a possible neutral site could be Great American Ballpark in Cincinnati (Home of the Cincinnati Reds) or the Louisville Sluggers Field in Louisville (Home of the Louisville Bats. I think that nine games would be too long for a World Series and by having the seventh game at a neutral site will allow fans from both teams allow to see a baseball team win the World Series.

Scott Boras wants it to be 9 games. With 2 games at a neutral site. Yes it used to be best of 9, and I believe it used to be 5 balls = a walk. There have been changes to the game over the years. I don't see a reason to change it back to a 9 game series.

And I agree...GO DODGERS. Hope we woop on SD tonight because we lost an extra inning affair last night, even though Penny threw a good game...our offense wasted it.

At one time the World Series was a best of nine series. A little less than one hundred years ago.

It will never happen because there is no reason nor need to extend it to nine names.

It's a cheesy way/idea to exploit fans for more money.

MLB officials need to nip this idea in the bud before it continues.

They should not extend it to 9 games. It's fine as it is in my opinion.
