Russell Martin of the Dodgers, Victor Martinez of the Indians, and Joe Mauer of the Twins are three very good catchers. Martin 296-9-52 is 24 years old, Martinez 323-14-63 is a little older at 28 and Mauer 297-4-30 is also 24 years old. Mauer was also the first catcher in years to win the American League batting title last year.

Russell Martin of the Los Angeles Dodgers is the best young catcher in the game. Russell Martin is going to be a guy for many years to come who hits around .300 and is a RBI Machine. Also he has proven he is a stolen base threat by stealing 15 bases this year which leads all catchers. While also hitting for power he also hits for average and is a great young catcher at age 24. Also I would like to add a good catcher in a couple years, which was the 15th overall pick in this years draft Devin Mesoraco. When he gets to the bigs watch for him to be a great catcher playing in a hitters ballpark with the Reds. So watch for both to be future all-stars. And all of you saying Victor Martinez your not even close cause he is 30.
