I have to opportunity to be in one of these cities for a new job. I'm hoping you can help me figure out which would fit best...
My wife and I are in our twenties and have three young kids. We definitely need a kid-friendly city with good suburbs, safe neighborhoods, good parks, etc.
We are also outdoorsy and into sports. We love pro sports and we love to be outdoors, hiking, skiing etc.
We are very active church-goers and conservative Republicans. It is very important to have a city that is more conservative and big on family values.
Weather-wise we prefer colder weather with snow--though any sort of weather is fine, I suppose.
So, which of the above cities would fit my family best? We have been to all and have different opinions of each of them. But what do you think?

Denver .. Cleaner air, healthier people, nice mountains, and a good hockey team. ;-)

Sounds like Denver might be a better fit. The way you describe your family. Atlanta definately does not have snow and is hot. Seattle has rain and fires (I have a friend there). I have no clue about Minneapolis.
Denver has snow.

I dont think you will find a city that meets such stringent requirements. You may have to relax on a few. I have been to Seattle and it is very nice there. On top of having a pro football team, they also have a basketball team, and there is a NHL team a few hours drive away in Vancouver, Canada. It does rain quite a bit, but it is very green, and lush and it does snow in the winter.

I would have to say Minneapolis, it fits the bill except for the republican part. Atlanta is to hot, Seattle is not for outdoors people, I don't really know about Denver.

do no longer circulate to Seattle! It rains perpetually and there are loads of earthquakes this is insane. human beings in simple terms learn how to stay with it. they are actually not too vast, yet confident are annoying with how primary they're and the little issues that destroy you consistently might desire to replace. Plus there is almost no jobs and loads of homeless human beings already. there is not any room right here for anymore. relatively pass with Denver or Chicago~!!!!

You probably want to go to Denver then. It has the outdoor activities, is near the Rockies and national parks.

I'd go for Minneapolis. But then I have a Midwesterner's bias since I'm from Chicago.

Denver is the most child-friendly area. My daughter is raising her three daughters out there. It is amazing all the things they have for kids to do out there on the prairie.
