Is there any way i can ask my boss if i could get paid every week - even though everyone else will be getting paid bi-weekly ... would payroll companies do that? like pay 1 person every week .. and the rest of the company bi-weekly ?

Nope.

The company contracts with the payroll company to run your payroll biweekly. (When you said payroll company, I assume that's how you folks do it, instead of having an inhouse payroll department.)

Since the company is on the biweekly contract, the company would have to rewrite the contract (and pay additional fees) to get you paid weekly.

IF you can make a good business case for getting paid weekly (something that would benefit the company), present it to your boss and see if they'll make the exception for you.

they won't do that because that was the terms when they hired you. you would have to find a different job if you want one that pays weekly most pay bi weekly now so good luck with that.
it also depends on the labor laws of your state but the fed guidelines as long as they are following them they are not going to run a special payroll for you. You could be putting your job in jeopardy by asking that. try to make a budget and because you are getting paid bi weekly so you have to know what your expanse are you are not going to get more money by getting paided weekly actually you will get more tax taken out. anyway a few things to thing about.

Your boss will not make that exception for you alone.
One way that you can get paid every week is for you to divide your cash in half when you get paid, and dont allow yourself to open the other half until a week later...

They probably won't do it for you..Bi-Weekly is the norm and unless there are alot of people that want it weekly I doubt that your company would even consider it....

That will never happen. You will just have to find a new job that pays every week!!!

It'd be nice if you could do that, huh?

Sadly, my last couple of jobs have been that way, it's pretty annoying huh?
