you were driving to work and on the road was a man or women biking to their work? Would you look down on them? think they are poor? Look up to their example? What would you think?

I certainly don't look down to them at all. The reason I put all those examples in is because that is how some people may think and I want to know what YOU think. I think it is great to bike to work. Except when my dad does...that is sorta embarasssing. But good for the environment nonetheless.

I used to ride my bike to work and I cannot tell you how obnoxious people can be. I worked 3-11 pm and on the way back people would yell stupid things at me, asking me where I was going or screaming names like B****H! One time these bunch of drunken idiots in a van threw beer bottles at me! It makes me think people don't think much of people who ride a bike to work. To answer your question, I would think they couldn't afford a car, wanted to save money, or keep in shape.

I would think that they are either getting exercise on their daily commute, or concerned about the environment or high gas prices. If the bike was old and in need of repair, I might think they are not exactly high income, but it wouldn't really matter. I have ridden a bike to work in the past, and I would be doing it now, but I have a toddler that has to go to a sitter, and I don't like riding uphill, lol.

I would probably think that they're trying to get some exercise on the way to work. No, I wouldn't think they're poor - especially considering that with some bikes you have to shell out a fair amount of $$$ to get the bikes.

I had a friend that wanted to save up for a trip, so instead of paying for gas, insurance and all that extra costs that come with a car, she sold it and bought a Bike. Not only did she get in better shape for her holiday, but she saved alot too. I think she was brilliant. I wish I wasn't as lazy

Because someone is biking to work doesn't mean they are poor. People bike because it is great exercise, because they would like to keep the air a little cleaner, etc. My first thought would be "there goes someone who is not a lazy ***."

I see them all the time on my way to work. I think it's cool to have time to do that in the morning. I wish everyone could walk or ride their bikes on a daily basis. It would be a healthier planet all around.

I would think thats really nice, why can't more people take the time and live life why can't more people do things with their spouses thats fun and helps the environment and why can't more people ride their bikes.
:)

i would think something about putting a stick in their spokes.

ok, seriously, i wouldent look down on them. there is some people who cant afford cars, there are some who dont want to harm the earth, some who do it for exersize, and then there is some who has mental issues and are not able to drive.
