Harvesting embryos and selling eggs on-line are not necessary for the research, and can be headed off with laws like the one passed in Missouri last year. Fertilization clinics throw more than enough needed embryos out every week. So
WHY would we not try every avenue possible to save and prolong human lives?
If you are anti-abortion because you view the procedure as one that takes a human life and feel that it is not a matter of choice, but murder- I disagree with you, but I can see where you're coming from. Being opposed to embryonic stem cell research is in no way defensible through this rationale. It is a stance founded on blind dogma, supported through omissions and false facts, and designed to stop people from potentially getting well because they think it offends their faith.
If you oppose this research, you should no longer be allowed to call yourself "pro-life".

I don't understand the American government. Keep finding reasons for going to war to end countless lives for no reason but shun on ways of saving lives.

In my humble opinion it's absolutely necessary, as it, highly likely in the near future already, can help a lot of people who otherwise can't be helped.
