It came out during the wash. I tried pushing it through with a clothes hanger, but that didn't work.

The safety pin idea works well. As long as you have the coat hanger, get a pliers and bend a hook on one end of it. Feed it thru the hood and tie the string onto the hook. Pull everything back and you're all set. Tie a knot or two in each end of the string to prevent this from happening again. The other thing you could do is to actually sew the cord in place, at the middle of the hood. That way if one end is pulled, the other won't come through.

I usually use a safety pin. Takes awhile, but works. Hook it where the end is and move it as much as you can...and repeat the process.

Try attaching one end to a safety pin - or a large blunt ended tapestry needle.

dude just buy another 1. its way easier than trying 2 put it back in and next just remember not 2 do it again.
