Am I the only one who thinks "The Cosby Show" as the best TV show to come out of the USA?

I wouldn't say you're the only one who thinks that, but I never felt that way about the Cosby Show. If I had to choose between Good Times and the Cosby Show I'd choose Good Times, cuz to me it was way funnier as a comedy and I could relate to more of the issues i.e.: being black and broke. Alot of us (blacks) saw the Cosby Show as a beacon of light for portrayal of us on t.v. because it was the complete opposite of Good Times. Where Good Times was often dismal and depressing and they never got out of the ghetto, the Cosby Show is on the complete other end of the spectrum. Having money and careers and status actually gave the Huxtables more good times than the Evans ever saw, but as for me, sometimes I thought it was unrealistic and over the top as far as how sunny things always were with them even though they did have money. The thing I loved the most about the Cosby Show is that the parents always instilled good morals in their children, and taught them to excel in life, which I think was the main theme. It was a great show, no doubt, but I wouldn't say it was THE best...but hey! Ya like what ya like!!!

no. because it was good wholesome family television. it actually taught something unlike these mindless television shows and movies these days.
