Top reasons a mom would hate their kid's friend...?

some kids are just bad news and parents can see it clearer than you can.

1. They are mean spirited punks
2. They are disrespectful
3. They don't listen to authority figures
4. They use foul language
5. They are overly cheesy with the manners
6. They enjoy hurting small animals or insects
7. They think it's funny when someone gets hurt
8. They try to control how you think or feel
9. They get angry and retaliate over the smallest thing
10. They talk about drugs, use drugs or sell drugs

Just because they are 8-10 doesn't mean they are innocent.

Ok, this question is right up my alley. I have an 11 year old son who for the past 3 years has hung around with the kid who lives behind us. Altho I am not crazy about the kid, I allowed my son to play with him because he seemed to be his only friend. Here is why I hated this kid (and honestly, hate is a strong word...I truly DISLIKED this kid). He was very bossy with my son. My son was not a fighter and was overweight (I say was because this past 6 months he went thru puberty and not only shot up like 5 inches but slimmed out considerably to be very lanky). This kid always called my son names and I hated to see it. Sometimes parents hate their kid's friends because they see something in the friend that their child does not see and they feel they are unsuitable.

Because their different and raised different and have different opinions than your own. Might seem shell shocking but some kids are raised different so you automatically raise a flag.

Best thing to do is give them a chance. Not having role models and leaders as parents weather their yours or not is the number one reason their are so many problems with kids in America today.

If the friend was older..ie. 12 plus
If the friend's influence caused the child to speak, dress or behave differently.(in a bad way)
If the friend was rude to me or other adults.
If the friend did not work hard at school
if I did not like the friends parents or had reason to suspect they were bad people

1. THEY HAVE OLDER BROTHER OR SISTER (S) (EVEN PARENTS) WHO ARE IN GANGS, SMOKE, DRUGS, ALCOHOL OR ARE TEENAGE PARENTS AND THE CHILD ONES TO BE JUST LIKE HIS BROTHER OR SISTER (S) AND GO AROUND SAYING HOW COOL IT IS.

2. THEIR LANGUAGE, STYLE OR ATTITUDE IS ONE THAT YOU DO NOT WANT YOUR CHILD TO HAVE.THEY ARE DISRESPECTFUL AND TALK BACK TO ADULTS WHO THEY DO NOT KNOW.

3. THEY KNOW WAY MORE ABOUT SEX, DRUGS AND ALCOHOL THAN YOU DO.

4. WHEN YOU ARE THE CARPOOL "PERSON" .THEY REFUSE TO WEAR SEATBELTS AND STICK THEIR HEAD OUT THE WINDOW YELLING "HEY MIKE, (INSERT YOUR CHILDS NAME) IS HAVING PIZZA COME OVER AND EAT WITH US"

5. THEY ARE EXACTLY WHAT YOU WERE AS A CHILD AND PRAY THAT KARMA DOESN'T COME BACK AND PUTS YOU THROUGH WHAT YOU PUT THEIR PARENTS THROUGH

i would not say i would hate any child, i may dislike them but not hate...and i would have to say lack of respect, hitting fighting, cussing ,smoking or drinking and yes there are some 10 year olds that do..
