I don't think you need a license or anything but you'll need alot of money and time, if you aren't caring for the rabbits properly, (cramped conditions, no food) then the RSPCA will step in.
Think of the vets bills as well, good luck!

hiya there, it particularly is large. i like having rabbits around, and elevating them is an incredible journey. although elevating rabbits is greater of a interest. i'm spending over $360 a year on feed on my own. and not making lots of a earnings. ok so first subject's first. a good small and delightful rabbit breed that I even have had a good time with have been Mini Lops. they might arise to six and a a million/2 kilos and that they do no longer desire any area of expertise care like Rex rabbits and Angoras. although the flatter confronted ones have a tendency to have a Malocclusion (tooth) subject. So purely purely be valuable you purchase the formidable heads that don't seem flat from the eyes to the nostril. All Rabbits can selection from 10 to one hundred funds (now and back greater) counting on the tutor high quality and the breeder of the rabbit. maximum are frequently around 30 -40 funds however. you will desire to start up out with a trio or 2-3 breeding pairs. A trio is 3 rabbits 2 does and a million greenback. A breeding pair is a million doe and a million greenback. so which you will desire 2-3 of pairs. Hutches are high priced so cord cages are often used. purely placed some thing on the floor like a mat to help stay away from sore hocks. you will be able to make the cages or purchase them the two way is high-quality. all dwarf breeds will do high-quality interior the 24x24 '' cages. Get water bottles or a automatic watering gadget for rabbitrys. food dishes, the wonderful ones are the j feeders. For a grooming kit get a cord brush, toddler oil, Q-tips, and nail clippers. (Will clarify in greater element later) greater to return later!

eeeeeeeewwww, U LIKE TO WATCH RABBIT HUMP EACH OTHER, lol jk!! U DONT NEEd a license . if i were u i would make a out side pen just for rabits and then make a kennel and fill it with rabbit hutches(cages) ,this is the easy part, get a healthy male and female rabbit ( probably not store bought )from a breeder (good breeder)and put out rabbit beding...ect. mabey get a igloo so wen she gets pregnant she can give birth in there (dont touch the babies!! )A FEMALE RABBIT SHOULD GIVE BIRTH TO 5-7 KITTENs(Baby rabits)(KEEP THE KITTENS AWAY from the father)1 HEALTHY RABIT SHOULD RANGE TO ABOUT ($20-$35)make sure to have a HEALTHY,CLEAN enivorment!! VET BILLS for a rabbit should not be expenisive
for u question how old do u have to be ... i dont think there is age... i guess the youngest should be 15yrs or even 16 i mean ur rabbit can have babies wen ur 8 if u want but u should not be a breeder at 8yrs. ur rabbit should be at least 3yrs to breed (keep the males and females seperated!!) so u dont get any babies befor !!MAKE SURE THAT ANY FEMALE AND MALE RABBIT ARE THE SAME BREED!! my friend had a male regular sized rabbit a dwarf female 1 baby was reg. and the female could not delevier it through properrly so it died (the baby!!) NOT the mom!GOOD LUCK!!

Before you breed your rabbits, make sure that you will have a home for them later. All rabbits have to be separated from each other when they are three months old. Because rabbits are nocturnal, you might not know that one is being picked on. Rabbits die easily from stress and I know that you want your rabbits healthy.
Because most people suffer from the "EASTER BUNNY SYNDROME", they can't imagine eating them. Rabbits have lower fat and cholesterol then turkey meat, and is one of the best meats to eat. Of course, if you only have a few bunnies, you are not going to eat them because they are pets.
So, before you plan on breeding rabbits, make sure that you have an outlet for the extra ones.
You have to get your parents approval before you start, and be willing to feed and water them at least once a day. If you live in a cold climate, you have to be willing to go out to take care of them, no matter how deep the snow is.
Your age has to be old enough to be able to take care of your animals, every day.
Most states don't require a license to raise rabbits, but some cities will let you only have a couple.
If you can buy some used cages, you can save a lot of money.
Plan on three cages for starting off. One for the doe, (girl), one for the buck,(male) and one cage for the babies.
When you breed your rabbits, always take your doe to the buck cage. As soon as he falls over, take her out. It might only take a few seconds, but never leave them together for more then an hour.
In about 31 days, she will have babies,(kits.)
Feed them rabbits pellets and never feed them cabbage. Rabbits can't burp, and the gas could kill them, plus give them diarrhea.
Rabbits only live about four to five years, but I had one live to almost 10 years. They make very good pets and will even learn their name and come to you,(sometimes) when you call them.
They aren't hard to take care of, and don't need baths. Most of my hundreds of rabbits that I have raised in the past never went to a vet, so they are low cost to take care of too. They don't need shots and rabbit food is cheap to buy.
Try raising one rabbit first to see if you like it. The Dutch breed would be a good one to start with. They really love people, and are small and easy to carry.
