There are a lot of stupid people all over the world. And would these reporters have been able to prove their point if they showed the people who were able to answer the questions? I'm an American, and could have answered all those questions, as would all of my friends.
Don't believe the press. It's way too easy to edit things or swing things to prove whatever point you would like.
I think that video is sad, and I'm extremely upset that people from my country are thought of this way around the world. And that none of the great things we do are shown in other countries, not even mine! There are these types of uneducated people all over the world, yet there seems to be some reason that countries all over the world want to attack us and our intelligence. No matter what good things we do, nobody in the world seems to really care.
Very sad...

Yes, Americans are honestly stupid. Although a better way to say this might be that we are deliberately stupid.
We spend billions on an unjustified war while our educational system falls apart.
We prefer to watch TV than to read.
We prefer to talk rather than think.
We continually elect and re-elect liars, theives and other criminals to the highest positons in our government, if we bother to vote at all.
We have decided that there is no use in morality and have adopted a position that "anything goes" and all others can do whatever they want, whenever and whereever they wish to do the same as long as it does not effect us indivudally.
We no longer practice self discipline nor do we teach such to our children.
We have become self centered, egotistical creatures who gladly destroy the Earth so as to satisfy our own desires.
Sadly, a majority of the rest of the world seems determined to follow our example.
We will have a great deal of company in "hell".

Yes, as an American I agree that we have more than our share of stupid people, and it is not hard to find them, but when you control the camera and the editing room, you can get whatever results you want.
That crew may have interviewed 100 people to get the dozen or so idiots they featured, this is not a scientific study.
A few months ago an American comedy/news show did this same thing and all the people looked like complete fools and idiots, but then at the end they showed the people who, indeed knew the answers, and there were at least as many, or more.
Let me just say that I knew every answer, but I wasn't available to be interviewed.

Not only most Americans, but most persons everywhere. Look at who they put in office--repeatedly!! Investigation will show you that most societies have a 6 wk memory. So many things are going on all around them that they dont learn lessons from history 200-400-1000 years ago and dont see the cause and effect of government leaders or where actions lead nations. Few people even remember what causes and effects in the past 5-10 years or even the current year, to all ow them to make good decisions. At election time, they remember only promises made during that 6 week time period and make their decisions accordingly. Thats why political parties dont really care too much what they promise until right at the very end, and why they arent held accountable to their lies of the past. THe public is largely dumb. Remember the saying, ignorance is bliss? That is stupid to realize, but its true! Time has a way of erasing memory, it gets replaced with ignorance, and all seems well to the person.

There are 300,000,000 Americans. The last time the Nobel Prizes for Science were announced, they all were won by Americans, which makes your question absurd. There are stupid people everywhere, unfortunately.
Update: I just watched the video. I knew the answers to almost every question. I'm an American. I'm also an illegitimate descendant of King Henry VIII and two of my ancestors signed the Magna Carta, so I'm quite a bit "British" by ancestry... maybe that's why I knew more than the people in the video??? ;)

I know every country in the world and all 50 states and can point to each location. This video likely just shows the stupid people and left out the smart ones or else the video wouldn't have been to entertaining

You can you go to any country and get the same answers my dear. Come on !!!. Question is, how many people did they ask, just to weed out those few. As far as we know they could of asked over several hundred people and then with just a little editing , just show the stupid people that answered. I'm sure I could go to England with the same experiment and with a little constructive editing come out with the same results !!! So before you past judgment on a country look at your own. England is not all that it seems either !!!

Why? Because some television host asked some high school dropouts some geography questions?
Can I say the British are stupid because you don't use apostrophes or you didn't start a sentence with a capital letter?
What about the hosts themselves? Surely you saw the map that had Iran written over Australia?

Hmm--stupid, yes; honest, probably not--just kidding:))
Intelligence is spread fairly evenly around the planet, it has been found. The "problem" with Americans is that they tend to actually believe the outrageous lies concocted and fed to them by their psychopathic leaders. Probably many don't actually "believe", but rather are, nevertheless, "in denial", because the truth is too frightening?
The truth is that there is a human "cabal" bent on owning everything and everyone, and the bush crime family and its friends, are mid level managers in that organization. Further truth is that the cabal, itself, is run by "Offworlders" who have plans for this planet and for those who survive the predatory activities of the cabal. Sound like fun? :)))
