i want to hear everyone's oppinion about "hey there delilah" by the plain white t's

my opinion is most likely going to be very different from all the others.
plain white t's success with hey there delilah makes me very happy, but yet very irritated.
i'm happy for them, they deserve it. but at the same time, everybody only focuses on 'hey there delilah', nobody wants to give their other songs a chance! 'hey there delilah' isn't even from their most recent album. it's from an album released in early 2005.
people ask me if i have them on my ipod, and all they listen to is 'hey there delilah'...which is a good song, but honestly, isn't the best they have. they're an AMAZING band, but i wish people would stop focussing on 'hey there delilah', it sort of makes me sick that people can be so naive.

I really like it. About a year ago, a girl in our town named delilah was killed in a car accident. Everytime I hear that song, it reminds me of her.

i love it. i scream when i hear it come on the radio. i know almost all the words just by listening to it. is the song based off of an actual person?

i think its a realy great love song to delilah..plain white t's are really great.

ITS MY FAVORITE SONG!!
its been played 450 times on my ipod, ive had it for a while tho, and it just started getting played on the radio, but its by far my most played song

"reliable Riddance (Time of Your life)" by eco-friendly Day "susceptible" by Secondhand Serenade "she will have the means to be enjoyed" by Maroon 5 "Straightjacket Feeling" by All American Rejects they're in all probability no longer as mushy as "hi There Delilah" although.

I really like it but they play in entirely way too much, and its starting to be one of those songs that annoy me. But other than that I love it!

i like it, but its weird, when they said "its what you do to me" and "if every word i wrote to you would take your breath away, id write it all" (ever think if he's trying to kill her by taking all of her breath away) "the world will never ever be the same and your to blame" i just thought twice about the song and that the ppl r trying to kill her! lol i have no i dea why i thought that tho..its a good song
