Yes I do write them back. It's the courteous thing to do. I think it's rude when you write to someone and they never write back.

Reciprocation is a must. It shows respect. Not writing someone back is like not returning a phone call....very disrespectful.

I think it only polite to write back - I have wrote letters though and never received a reply - bad manners I think.

if they are my friend or aquantince and family i always write back :]
but if they are a spammer or a stranger maybe someone you know but ya just want to shake em' off thats a case when i wouldn't write back
