Yeah I know lots - most are the really fancy looking pedigree dogs or cats that everyone goes 'awwww' over, and then they have really bad attitudes! I find that old, ugly animals, especially battle scarred ones, seem to be really sweet and affectionate!
Looks mean nothing!

A coon. They are so cute to look at, but they can be so mean.
I knew someone who had one as a pet from the time it was a baby (it's mom had been hit by a car and the baby was standing by her dead body, so the lady took it home).
It seemed to be a really good pet and then it turned on her. It bit her so bad on the hand and arm that she wound up needing stitches because of the bite.
I was 11 years old and I thought it was neat that she had a coon as a pet.
I learned really quick to leave wild animals alone and in the wild.

Giant anteaters are very cute but then they try to rip you open with their very large claws.
Two-toed sloths also have very bad attitudes.
