The color of the sky is because of sun light bouncing off the molecules in the air, depending on the number of times this light is reflected gives the color. Hence the sky is blue during the day and red as it sets because the light has to reflect more.

I can understand why you think the sky is blue. It is because you don't take the time to really look at the sky just as you don't take the time to completely spell out your words and that type of spelling will hinder you when you grow up and try to get a job you want be able to because you want no how to spell. Now back to the color of the sky. The sky is sometime gray, dark gray, light gray, black, white, red, blue, yellow, and etc., haven't you seen rainbows in the sky? God determines the color of the sky at any given time to match the weather and atmosphere.

the sky is blue b/c the light that the sun reflects is a energy which is the color blue, and thats y our the sky is blue. if it gave ultra viloet rays then it would be purple..etc.
its the sun reflection that hits a ray that is the color blue. thats y our sky is blue. hope it helps =))
