No, they hate us because we support Israel. The US was one of the main reasons why Israel came into existence and the US blindly supports Israel to this day, so they hate America because we support Israel.

I recommend that you first learn how and why some Muslims become radicals. I am a Moslem, and I strongly believe that Muslims in general do not hate Americans. What they hate is the American foreign policy which for many decades was based on supporting corrupt regimes and on their blind support to Israel. Israelis have violated every human right law on the books in dealing with the Palestinian inhabitants of the land that Israel was created on. Palestinians were forcibly deported from their homes and villages with the support of US military and money from tax payers to the Israelis who are now killing and destroying homes a villages routinely. Palestinians are now acknowledge that Israelis have the right to live in peace, but Israel with the help of us government policies are trying to completely destroy all people who oppose their policies. American foreign policy towards the Palestinians in particular and towards the Muslim and Arab masses in general have not been fair. And that is why some Muslims become radicals and that is why the Muslims and Arabs hate US government.

Radical Muslims hate us for the simple reason that we have attacked their countries, killed their mothers, daughters sons and fathers....
They hate us because we are blinded to the illegalities committed by Israel on a daily basis and this thing will now progress until the outcome is unfathomable.
I really think that Blair and Bush have escalated a problem to the point of no return now.

They hate the foreign policy of the US which is seen as unconditional support for Israel.
They strongly oppose our decadent life where we have freedom of choice,freedom to choose which books we read and which movie's we watch even if they are offensive.
Bottom line.As far as that statement has any truth it are our LIBERAL freedoms they hate and it's very sad conservatives seem to agree with them.Think gay rights and their constant attack on popular culture

We are infidels. It isn't only our freedom they hate - it's everything about the west that doesn't measure up to Sharia Law - even Ahmadinejad has told his people that he offers them an "alternative to the corrupt western way of life."
The upside is that Islam is a religion of tolerance and peace.
(Hezbollah, Revolutionary Guard, AlQaeda, Jihad, etc.......)
