I love articulate souls.

To paraphrase a line from an old Disney movie, "I owe, I owe, its off to work I go." As for the investing aspect, considering the context of the "question", maybe it is so that sometime I can start working for me, putting my money to work, so that I don't have to work for someone else. I work for someone else because I'm not consistently correct in putting my money to work--that and the other good reason, they wanted me to help them, so I stay useful.
