he is pretty much a conservative president, he beat his socailist opponent fair and square. The White House is really excited to have him in office because the think that he will help improve US-French relations. Some say he is the next Tony Blair in terms of his relationship with America.

Sarko is a conservative who is Pro-America. He has called the 35-hour work week "absurd" and called the 2005 protesters (the car-burners) "scum." In many ways, he is exactly what his nation and the world need.

I don't really know a lot about him, but I saw his speech on the news this week and felt that he was genuine and a good leader. Perhaps all countries could do with a sprinkling of same.
