Drive up the M1, M6 and M62 (or M58) or take a flight to Liverpool, or get the train from Euston to Lime Street.

Believe me - If you're in London, you don't want to go to Liverpool. Stay where you are :o)
Mind you - if you've never heard of a train or a bus, perhaps you should leave after all.
Driving? M1, M6, M62

Not sure why you would want to go there - but if you want to fit in with the locals, nick a car and then head up the M40, the M42, the M6 and then the M62. If you are going in your own car, remember to lock up the hub caps!!
