There is gravity on every celestial object. It is a fundamental thing which must exist. The strength of gravity varies from planet to planet, moon to moon. We have come to use Earth's gravity as the reference but the moon has a weaker gravity but other bodies have stronger gravity.

Yes the gravity is minimal though. Put it this way. If you were to hit a golf ball on the moon it would leave the moons gravitaional pull.

yes, there is.
It's weaker than on earth, but it's still pretty strong. I am sure that a basketball hoop would need to be about 20 feet in the air to make it a sport.
