she'll probably think that her parents are brainless for naming her like that. try watching some anime, cartoon or movies which has a plot of the old time and you will find some really nice names in there. like the movie lord of the rings, clash of the titans, and read the story of iliad. unique name is really cool specially if you're the only one that has that name in your class. don't name your kids after some relatives or ancestors. it will be such an insult to both of them.

How would YOU feel about having the name? Personally, I would definitely resent it. Think how she will have to deal with the teasing of her peers. Think how it will look on a job resume.

Not unless you are a Hippie living in a commune.
Or a celebrity's child.
Or if the child's parents are billionaires.

XD that is a pretty wierd name, although I'm sure you think its cute, would YOU want that name?
Think about your daughter growing up... people can be brutal and careless, and will tease her.

people who name their kids what they consider to be "creative" names don't usually have strong bonds with their children...
for example, this woman I know named Candy Mann
another one named Soccer Goles
it's very tragic, I think

I'd hate any of those.
It's too common...
I'd name my daughter Bettie. I think it's cute, and I like the old fashioned-ness of it.
