Just because I like:
- watching cartoons?
- eating junk food?
- playing with kids?
- visitng the zoo?
- reading/colouring in colouring books with my nieces/nephews?
Why are they so concerned that I like kid's stuff? I'm not hurting anyone by doing it. My mom is still immature, and she is 50 years old!

Cosmic: I do all these things with my nieces/nephews, and I am self-employed and a student. And yes, at times, I babysit them, but I'm not a babysitter persay.

Because they are miserable with their boring life and they want you to be miserable too.
Don't listen to the brainwashed masses, you are fine the way you are.
You are grown up and you have fun. Being responsible and growing up is different. I bet you are much more responsible than those who put you down.

The grown ups are telling you this so that you will have a realistic idea of what adulthood would be like. There would be bills to pay and co-workers to deal with. You would realize that going to college would be a very helpful way to make your life a lot easier because most jobs requires you to have one and pays you a lot more than minimum wage. Even with more responsibilities, you only have one life to live so remember to enjoy your life and take a trip to disneyland if you want to and pay it with your savings and not by credit. Whatever you want in life you can get it, as long as you work hard and save for it. Do not be fooled thinking that you can use your credit card without needing your own money. This will make your life very miserable. I wish you the best.

I still like watching cartoons too. And I love kids and playing/coloring with my niece and taking her to the zoo and to parks and fun cities. I just love the joy and excitement kids always have, and their brilliant observation and intelligence. Sometimes they notice things and things excite them that you did not pay attention to.
I want to share a story that my little niece said that I just thought was so cute. She was telling us that she was 5 years old. And then she goes on " after 5 years I will be 6".
Being the mathematician I am, I looked at her and told her
" after 5 years, you will be 10 years old sweety"
and she went on counting with her baby voice" after 6 years I will be 7".
hehe. I finally got what she was saying. We have to think like the child to understand what they are saying. :))

If you hold down a job and pay your own way in life who cares. That's a catch fraze for people who feel that you are wasting your life. Not that's any of their business. I love cartoons, some people are uncomfortable in their own skin so they cant play with kids, they think it makes them look.... IDK stupid?, Everyone should visit the Zoo alot. and I don't see who can fault you for spending quality time doing what your neices and nephews like.
You don't say how old you are but if your a teenager, whatever you will grow up when it's time if your older than you are grown up even if you don't act it in their opinion.

It's not time to make a change, just relax, take it easy, your still young that's your fault, there's so much you have to know. Find a girl, settle down. If you want you can marry. Look at me, I am old, but I'm happy. I was once like you are now,and I know that its not easy, To be calm when you've found something going on. But take your time, think a lot, Why, think of everything you've got. For you will still be here tomorrow, but your dreams may not.

No...don't grow up if the list of what you like to do is fun to you! I still watch Bugs Bunny!
I may be 40....but at heart I'm still 18!
I refuse, ADAMANTLY, to grow up...I'm much happier (and successful) where I am!
Hey...remember....It's your life...if you listen to everyone else's opinion...at 75 you're gonna realize...YOU LIVED SOMEONE ELSE'S LIFE!!

Those people are just jealous of your youthfulness. Take them to Chucky Cheese's. That will put them in a better mood.

It is good to be like a "kid" as long as you remember as you do get older, to take responsibility for what you actually do in life!
