It's a pretty decent deal, but there is a problem, there is no such thing as DDR2 5300 RAM. You probably mean PC2 5300, which is DDR2 667 RAM.

This is NOT a good gaming computer, unlike what someone stated. This has no video card (6150 is integerated), and you're definatly going to want a video card for gaming. But for other general use, this is a great computer.

For the price, it's pretty good.

does sound good but a few questions to ask youself.

1. What do you want it for- sounds like a good gaming machine.
2. How much are you planing to do and learn and does this meet your needs?
3. Will computers get cheaper with the turndown in tech , and will there be more competition?
4. Do you just want something for the basics?
You can buy a slightly used XP with bells and whistles for littel or nothing as they cant sell them- I prefer this type of machine.
( Vista is way overrated in my opinion and I dont like it at all, lots of XP out ther for sale from people who cant get rid of them. I just bought another 1 year old gateway with XP and monitor for $100 bucks and he came down from $150 wich is still nothing and it is wireless equiped etc)
