I have venus retrograde in Leo in twelfth house. And venus in in conjuction with mars in Leo.

I have Venus Retrograde. This can cause conflict with others of your same sex. Dealing with it in the 12 house can also mean that those friends can become your enemies. In the long run you learn what's best for you and eventually you overcome the retrograde as you age. It's not that it ever reverses itself It just means you learn and pick people more carefully to hang out with. If Venus is in conjuction with Mars in leo this helps the retrograde in regard to your attraction to others and can help with your social and romantic interests.

Retrograde has two distinct characters. One is what appear to be forward is actually backward. The second is, in your case, Aquarius energy juxtapositioned into Leo space. This means your Venus will take on many of the same sex pair traits of Aquarius. Would suggest avoid trying to return to behaviors or relationships of the past as a method to move forward.
