absolutely, completely, with abandon.... it is what makes life worth living when I get up in the morning. at the end of it all, I can say that I loved well and often and with joy! Oh, sure, sometimes that love was taken for granted, sometimes that love was stepped upon, sometimes that love was discarded.... but I DID love. And I won't let the actions of others keep me from loving again and again and again! I'd rather approach another human in love than distrust... and that is a choice I make every single morning towards all humanity.

Yes but in my youth it was a selfish love for me. It was not until I had some dramatic life experiences to draw from that I learned to give love and know the joy of having it returned in kind.

thats really not hard to answer-we all loved in our individual ways. For me, it has been love for my children and grandchildren, my husband, also my first love and all the ones inbetween and love for my extended family but the most important would be love for life for each day we are allowed to be here and experience all of this.

Haven't you heard - It is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all ? We can not survive without love, life will become unbearable without love.

When I was a kid I'd say, "I love you, Daddy," and he'd say, "Well, why don't you act like it, then?" In the end, I'm gonna just let God figure it out and do whatever He thinks best.
