It is deliberately ambiguous. The viewer can interpret it depending on personal preference.

I tend to think of it as a righty batter, but then (a) the majority of batters are righty and (b) I'm right-handed. So there are obvious biases, which is likely true for anyone.

It is designed to be seen as either. The model for the logo, however, was Harmon Killebrew, who batted right-handed.

Considering the bat is in front of him and his back is showing tells us he's a right handed hitter.

Interesting question... It appears like he's a lefty... but it's possible to display the logo as a mirror image, in which case he would appear as a righty... But on the back of my MLB fitted cap, he's definitely a lefty...

I think he's a switch hitter b/c every time I look at it I switch my answer...he looks lefty but then again
