Hello dear!

Well, I am not afraid of anything!
Maybe, because there is nothing we don't know! The knowledge is within us, except we haven't found the way to surface it!
Not understanding mainly comes from brainwashing we have had come through, from family, society, media, education, etc.
Also, being afraid does not really help! Knowing the limits of Universe, life, ours, brings anything to the level of "lesson"!

I think that part of the reason for this is that people don't want to look foolish. If they don't know about something or have yet to understand it, they have to learn. In doing so, they must ask questions, feel their way, go on instinct, and frequently, make mistakes. It's part of the learning cycle, but it's the part people don't enjoy. The learning cycle itself could be part of the problem, too. Some people just don't want to put any effort into learning something new. They'd rather stay with what they know than have to stretch their brain to accommodate new knowledge and information.
