Don't have sex...and save it until you get married.

Good luck. I was celibate until I met my husband to be. Once the date was set, that celibacy went out the window. I did remain celibate and virginal until I was 32 and knew my fiance was the man for me. We have been married almost 10 years.

Find people to hold you accountable to your decision. Turn off the stupid TV, because there is very little on it that supports such a decision and companies wouldn't spend millions on advertising if what you saw didn't affect you. Might want to stop listening to secular radio for the same reason, only what you hear, instead of what you see. Pray and spend regular time reading the Bible and worshiping God. Ask Him to help you when you feel yourself starting to lust. If you really want help, He will help you. Keep yourself busy doing other things so you don't have to think about it all the time. You should be fine. Your wife will appreciate the fact that you waited for her. It makes her feel special. And if she waited for you too, so much the better. Good luck and God bless.

I am almost 28 and still a virgin. Its not too hard if your will power to share your love with your wife only is great. But the fluid build up does bug you alot. EEh...you know what to do then. But i even try not to do that. Some times it gets too tough. But hey we can keep on trying.

By not having sex!!

I don't think that remaining a virgin until your married is a good idea any more. You need to know if you are compatible with the other person. You may get along with them personality wise, but may not be compatible when it comes to sex.

You have to think of it like buying a new car, You wouldn't just buy a car without giving it a test drive would you!!

I know sex before marriage used to be frowned upon but it has always happened.

If celibacy is a true desire of yours, you should be able to maintain it. If, however, it is something you want to do for reasons other than respecting yourself, you will have a great deal of difficulty. You need to be honest with yourself and ask why this is your goal. If the answer is altruistic, you should be fine..

I would say you should make sure that you are sexually satisfied in other ways and not when you are around temptation either as you may slip up. I don't recommend this either as I think sexual compatibility is important. I have a few friends who have ended up with gay spouses who proceeded to leave them for men, so I would want to make sure that my intended intends to be with me.

Celebacy was devised to prevent unwanted pregnancy and to ensure safety of women. Now sex with out fear of pregnancy is posssible.Protected sex has made sex possible without pregnancy.Celebacy ensures protection from STD and Aids .That may be the only justification.

Other than the obvious answer, just make a choice. It's really all you need to do.

If that's your desire, then simply decide to and follow through with it.

Are you kidding? Just get a second girlfriend. That way you can be celibate with the first one.

Sheer willpower, love. (I honestly don't recommend it, though.)

You can try your best to steer clear of "temptation", discuss your values with your intended and pick up a hobby.

Best of luck.
