I think you mean the winning pct.

Here's what you do.

*Add up the wins and losses.
*Take the number of wins divided by number of losses.
*Then that's the percentage.

Here's an example

Team Record: 12-7
Winning %: 63.2% or .632
(12+7=19. 12 divided by 19= .632)

Just because I feel good and I am on vacation today I will show you many different stats in baseball, and how to calculate them.
First of all the winning percentage.
games played divided by the games played. So 116 wins in 152 games= .763 won-lost percentage.
Second we have batting average. at-bats divided by hits. So 149 hitsdivided by 403 at-bats equeals .370 batting average.

Third we haveon base percentage, but it is complicated.

hits+walks+hit by pitch dividedby at-bats+walks+hit by pitch+sac flies= on base percentage.
example 100hits+100walks+10hit by pitch=210
then we have 500 atbats+100walks+10hitbypitch+10sac flies=620 so 620divided by 210e-

Winning percentage?

wins divided by (wins and losses)

w% == W / (W + L)

Don't use "games played" because tie games, although they are exceedingly rare, do count as games played but do not factor into team standings or winning percentage.
