A musical is the most commercial piece of theater. Instead of trying to find an idiot who takes a camera to a theater (which, btw, a taped version of a stage performance is ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS dull, no matter how good the show), just go into a good video store and buy them on DVD? Seriously. Musicals are notorious for their commerciality and their over-production among the community theaters, and if they haven't been made into a professional movie, they're either a) really new, b) really good, or c) really bad and not worth it. Musicals are not my cup of tea at all.

Please note that you are asking people to provide you with stolen goods. Yes, bootlegs are considered stolen goods. If anyone complies, the two, of you can be charged with trafficking in stolen property. That is the same offense as buying something from a burglar, especially when you know from which house (the record or movie company) the item was stolen. Even if you wanted to do such a thing, do not advertise it in a written forum. The offer to buy would advertise you as a fence.

Did you know that by watching bootleg musicals you're actually stealing from the performers in the show? And making it really hard for AEA to make ends meet for it's performers. So please don't have anything to do with them.
