I'm starting to think yes, and that race pimps like Sharpton, Jackson and the pandering politicians who think blacks can't succeed without the nanny hand of government are relics of a bygone era more than anything else.

This is a loaded question. Many people have long opposed affirmative action...but for the wrong reasons. In general biogts have opposed affirmative action cause, well, they hate black people. But your point (whether well-intentioned or malignant) is well-taken. As ultimately carried out, affirmative action had the opposite of its intended effect. Following the advent of affirmative action policies, successful blacks came to be viewed as inferior, affirmative action scabs. It completely invalidated any genuine success.

uh, no.

98% of blacks vote democratic.

that is why the south is not as nearly as staunchly republican as people would like to believe.

but if republicans even cared about that there would have been some right wing outcry to the partisan response to hurricane katrina.

you think cons won't pay for that - and pay and pay and pay and pay...

think again.

The undesirable whites that vote Republican are no longer lots distinctive with their severe drop out fee, youngster pregnancies and racism. Its basically been forty years because of fact the civil rights rules have been surpassed and it will take lots longer till now the socio-financial hollow would be bridged. Socio-financial oppression continues to be alive and properly in u.s. no be counted in case you % to comprehend it or no longer.
