Im so confused lol my husband says my name is already changed because of marriage? what do I have to do?

And can i call and chang my name on car registration/insurance before SS Office?

Take your marriage certificate to the social security office and change it there then go change it at the dmv. Once you've done that you can change anything else with those documents. It'll only cost you a license renewal fee

get a certified copy of your marriage certificate and go to the social security office. Although depending on your state, sometimes you have to change your license first..good luck!

Start with SS. Go to their office, bring certificate of marriage and passport (they list different ID on their website), Then change your license, passport and everything else. Good luck, and CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! I just changed mine on Friday!!!

You don't have to, it's just that many woman do, it's like a tradition. It is not automatically changed at marriage you have to decide if you want to change it of not.
