Bush has a 130 I.Q. according to specialists who studied his tests scores, SAT scores, and such. A 140 I.Q. and above is genius and a 120-140 I.Q., which Bush falls under, is classified as very superior intelligence. Bush graduated out of Harvard after earning a MBA when Al Gore performed miserably in college and almost flunked out, so it is funny when people say Al Gore is smarter than Bush. I don't necessarily like some of Bush's policies, but I can't see why some people sincerely believe he has below average intelligence.

Somebody has lied to you bigtime. To do the things Bush does, there is no way he could have a very high IQ. He is totally incompetent as a president. He has made some mistakes that have cost the USA in tragic ways. It will be years to live down the damages Bush has caused. How on earth can you look at the man and think him intelligent?

Bush has said many stupid things (examples have already been given), but his comment last week really crossed the line between 'silly' and 'serious' stupid:
"Iraq should aspire to Israel's model of a democracy, functioning despite terror attacks." I still cringe at the implications that can be drawn from that one!

My main problem with Bush however is that he appears to be narrow in his thinking, preferring to surround himself with those of like-mind. To me, someone who is truly intelligent is not threatened by other intelligent people and welcomes the stimulation of different viewpoints. A president especially needs to have a "best and brightest" staff and cabinet to handle the complexities of the office, not a bunch of "yes-people".

Conversely, this president goes to great lengths to surround himself with "like minds". Even if it means culling 150 of them from a tier 4 (lowest rung) institution such as Pat Robertson's Regent University. It does reflect on him, and it does not reflect well.

"ajmccb" Bush actually went to Harvard Business School AND Yale, so you're both right.

LIBERALS think he's stupid because:

1. The media portrays him as stupid
2. He isn't a great public speaker
3. He has a southern accent

But I gotta say calling someone "stupid" is one of the least intelligent ways I can think of to criticize someone. Think about it, how did you make fun of people when you were 10 years old? You called them stupid, idiot, retard, etc.

The guy can barely speak the English language. I dont care what you got your test scores from (obviously fake), the guy is an idiot.

There's no question about it.

Bush's PhD is HONORARY, meaning he did NOTHING to earn it. Bush's MBA from Harvard, proves money gets you virtually anything in this country. He can't even say the word ''nuclear", yet Harvard gave him a Master's degree...total Bullshyte.

According to Dubya (that sounds like a sitcom):

- Liquefied gas is solid
- Border relations between Mexico an Canada are good
- Nigeria is a continent.
And there's more

Just look at any of his quotes past or present. Just last week he said,

"The leader of Palestine...he is the leader of the Palestinians..."

And as documented in "Fahrenheit 9/11" in the last scene said,

"Fool me once, shame on...shame on you.......fool me and can't get fooled again."

In the third Presidential Debate of 2004 dealing with a stem cell research question, he said something like,

"I don't believe in sacrificing lives in order to save lives."

So the War in Iraq is what then...??

He comes off as stupid. he is one of the worst speech givers, I have ever seen. He comes from a family of big oil, so he is the spoiled rich kid, which does not help. I do not believe his IQ is that good. I believe other people form his thoughts for him. Actually his wife looks a little retarded, too. So they make a perfect couple.

I have a 130 I.Q., but I'm not an idiot. Bush may be intellectually smart, but he is an idiot.

Because he is. I don't care what anyone says . I know someone who went to school with him, and he's not too swift. His being intelligent is a conspiracy theory, planted by the CIA

His intelligence quotient isn't the issue. It's where he is out of touch with reality that's the issue.
