Was that AlQaeda? Or just extremists? My dad was at the airport that very morning, freaky.

It didn't look as though it was very organised, had it been a well organised AlQaeda attack, I'm sure it could have been much worse. I just think it was a couple of extremists who took it upon themselves to try and be heroes to their religion, they really messed it up and hopefully now they will be severely punished for it. Thank God they were caught, it could have been so much worse.

I am watching this from USA. If you think it was an attempted bombing, then perhaps there is censorship in UK. It looked to me like a successful bombing, perhaps not as successful as the bombers wanted, but that building is seriously damaged, air travel is disrupted, all the people who were at that airport have had their lives tuned upside down, there is a lot of expense reacting to this.

I am glad only one innocent bystander was injjured.
The London attack was extremely good luck for the good guys. I heard that the TIGER TIGER club has a capacity of 1700 people ... had the bomb at the entrance gone off as it was apparently designed for, the petroleum would have had a big burning cloud with nails shot all through the crowd, then the police ambulances etc, arrrived, helped survivors out, then they would have been hit by the second bomb.

In any of these events, it is not reasonable to learn immediately who is responsible. It seems reasonable from the news out so far that the group doing it might be sympathizers with alQueda. Certainly the two car bombs in London are consistent with their methods, but only 3 cars total does not seem like the kind of thing they do ... if it really was them, you should expect same kind of attack 20 different places in the nation in 2-3 days..

In response to Uncle Joes reply, it may have seemed an amateurish attack, but we can only thank god that it was, as it was not set out to be. This attack would have been planned for many weeks, to take as many civillian casualties as possible. As a Scottish patriot who used that very airport only recently, it sickened me that anyone could make such a random attack on human life. This threat of attack on our country is NEVER going to go away, so we must now start asking ourselves the questions of who these Al Queda extremists are. I fully appreciate that there are many innocent Muslims out there, but what about the ones that arent, they seem to be living amongst us, even on our doorstep, im not prepared to believe that even though the majority of the Muslim community is not involved, that some of them dont know or suspect a select few that could be extremists, and arent coming forward with information. I urge everyone out there to report anything you feel is suspicious as it is only by outing these scum that we stand a chance of getting back to a safe and secure country. If i have offended anyone by these views then i can only apologise, but this is how i feel, this is a war we cannot win unless we all make a stand together as a nation.

it would desire to be any physique, its unusual the way it particularly is executed purely using fact the hot best Minister Gordon Brown comprises Downing highway, is it grasp mined via the government and different protection bodies? possibly Gordy gonna upward push some heavy taxes on us Britishers and this so pronounced as bombing marketing campaign is purely a smoke demonstrate, particularly if any establishments can propose the homicide of six hundred thousand Iraqis then a hand full of us Brits are negligible. purely using fact the Israelis cry approximately their 6 million yet forget approximately the different 34 million that perished interior the 2d international conflict. To the efficient human existence isn't something.

It seems to have been too amateurish to be an al-Quaeda sanctioned attack, I think it's more likely to be a copycat attack based on the London car bomb attempt. The perps are probably Islamic extremists but whether they were taking instructions from a wider organisation seems a bit doubtful.

on the news it said the police had leads about what was going down and just missed them at their house but again this is the kinda thing that happens when we hang the " open for all " sign up.the goverment more of less funds theese people because when they come over here who,s money do you think it is that goes into paying for their housing needs and education costs and then of course we give them money to adapt and buy cars because the cant get public transport cause they CLAIM not to speak englsih but yet can drive mercerdes and open up shops and all this is given to them from the money that us and our family have provided to the goverment in years with insurance and tax that is supposed to protect US instead its being given to potenial killers while poeple from the uk are told sorry no money left for you,s but dont worry just go out and work hard for your money and give us a percentage
