there are usually 3 reasons that can happen
1. your pump is clogged up
2. the impeller doesn't sit right in your pump
3. you don't have enough water in your tank for your pump to work properly (just happened to me)

Hope that helps
Good luck

I have a magnum 350 filter but I sometimes get a weird noise if the filter is starting to clog. Which means cleaning it to get it to stop. Also if you have a wheel in it try taping it as sometimes the wheel sticks on some of them.

your fish wont die in the present day because of fact your clear out dies, my clear out stopped and that i didnt observe for some days and not one fish died XD attempt dismantling it thoroughly and giving each and each section a sturdy sparkling, maximum clear out manufacturers will advise changing the sponge/carbon stuff each month yet oftentimes each 4/5 months is large to me. in case you havent replaced the sponge in some months then attempt that. additionally confirm the impeller blade isnt caught, get a sparkling unused paint brush, rinse it in heat water to confirm there are not any production facility chemical compounds in it (there in all possibility arent in spite of the indisputable fact that it may pay to be secure) and sparkling the impeller shaft to confirm it relatively is unblocked, i try this a week yet oftentimes it is going to circulate some months till now getting blocked. once you sparkling the clear out a week attempt including some constructive micro organism to it, it relatively is obtainable in a sort of approaches from liquid chemical compounds to those strange sparkling balls you pop interior the clear out (evolution aqua or something like that)

Oh gosh. Save yourself some time and don't try to fix that filter. Just buy another, quieter, one.
It'll save you up to two hours.
