1) On the exam, follow where you are on the page with the hand that's not writing. (Point.) 2) Keep breathing. (seriously) 3) Keep a water bottle handy, if it's allowed. 4)Drink a lot of water and get enough sleep the day before the exam. Exercise is good, too. 5) Take B vitamins, or / and eat green vegetables. 6) Trust God. 7) Read positive, motivational stuff. (Zig Ziglar, Robert Schuler, etc.) 8) Find some people who think you're smart and hang around them at least once a week. If someone suggests you might be dumb, pause, look at them with a raised eyebrow, and say something like, "That's an interesting opinion," "I'm surprised to hear you say that," etc. (Make up a few.) Good luck. 9) Pray when you study and pray when you take the test. (I've heard too many amazing accounts to leave this one out!) 10) Plan something you enjoy doing, for after the test. Looking forward to it will relax your mind.

It can be very difficult to increase these things on your own. Your best bet would be a tutor or a study buddy. If no tutor is available, at least you can make small side bets with the study buddy as to who makes the least mistakes, etc. At this point you need to learn how other people approach a given situation and make sure that they address all the little details.
