if the girl's ok i wouldnt mind getting asked. but if she's fat or fugly she might find me a little bit unapproachable. Lol
nah, just ask the kid. most guys will find that really flattering and pump up their testosterones

bump into hem and just say hey lets go on that carnival ride and just sort of drag him in trust me we men are idiots any chance to be with a pretty girl well take it even if its to a pottery class you could probably even just ask him striaght foward and he'll say yes

Just say hello, introduce yourself and then ask.
"Hi, my name is ______, you don't know me but I was wondering if you would like to ride _________ with me?"
All he can say is yes or no....no biggie, but at least then he knows who you are.
