No you can always "uninstall it" usually this feature is on your Control Panel. But whenever you erase/uninstall something it leaves a little bit behind so it does eventually over time take up space.

Yes.

Your hard drive is like a closet. You have boxes of shoes, hats on hooks, coats and shirts on hangers, blankets on the shelves, and so on.

If you add Paint Shop, it will also take up some space in the closet.

Eventually, if you get too much stuff in the closet, you won't be able to find your programs easily, and at that point, you'll want to clean the closet out and maybe have a yard sale.

anything you download will take up space from your hard-drive...until you uninstall it of course.
