I got a positive 1 day before my period. It was a faint pink pink line, that i thought was an evap line, but it happened with 5 minutes. So i took another test the following day and it was negative. So i tested again,at 5 days and i got a negative. I have been having cramping for a week and a half, that feel like period cramps. So i keep going to the bathroom thinking im gonna see blood, and nothing. I have tons of symptoms of pregnancy i.e sore nipples, mood swings, cramps, headaches... I have a dr's appt. for tuesday.
Has anyone had a positive than negatives, and still been pregnant? does it sound like pregnancy?

Just wait it out till you go see your dr. All women are diff. its possible to get a false positive but it doesnt happen to often. good luck and i hope you get the results your wanting. good luck.

It is possible that the original result was a false positive.
Many kits do not contain positive and negative control pads that you can compare your color results with.
Retesting is the best advice I can give you. The test measures a very small amount of hormone present in your pee. It is most concentrated in the morning after a nights sleep and thus the pee had been in your bladder a few hours. Try testing in the morning for best results.

The symptoms you are experiencing are also associated with PMS. They are most likely there every month around this time, yet because you are wanting to be pregnant, you are noticing them more.
I don't think you are pregnant. You've already taken 2 tests that read negative. If you feel compelled to, try again in a few days.

u could've had a miscarriage at an early stage OR you could go by the positive and maybe the negative didn'tatch much hormone. I say go to the dr, if u got a positive u were pregnant or u still are pregnant I'd go get it checked goodluck!

i had the same with my last pregnancy i tested the day of my missed period it was positive then a week later when i had doctor test it was positive then i tested again it was negative bled next day had a misscarriage.
when you get a negative it prob means the hormone level isn't there anymore or it isn't high enough

well, that happened to me, but backwards. i got a negitive, and then a week later got all positives, you might of done something wrong with the first test, because if you are pregnant theres no reason the other tests wouldnt pick up the hcg in your urine. wait to see your doctor.

One of my nieces is like that. She always gets negative results when she's pregnant. She has to go to the dr to have it confirmed. Good luck.

if it is negative you ae not pregnant. it seems like a girl with a 4.46 and a double science major on her way to med school could figure this out without YA

i would wait till you go see your doctor it seems to me you could be having a misscarrige.
