Do you think about race?

In what settings and what do you think?

I think about it all the time.. but usually not as a divider and rarely with any negative emotion... I appreciate what everyone has to offer. I truly feel most comfortable in a multicultural setting and feel most uncomfortable when i see only white people.

I think about race most when I see interracial couples and thre bi-racial children and usually I smile because that is one more victory for diversity and one more defeat for the racist haters out there (and unfortunately on here). There is no going back.. they can fight and argue all they want, but the US is slowly turning a nice shade of tan no matter how much they try and stop it!

I think about it quite often because I can not believe that so many people can be so racist (especially white people.)
I see so many white people on here to throw insults around when really they have no clue what they really mean.
I believe we are all equal, it is only what we do that may set us apart.
My partner is mixed race and I see first hand how cruel and rude people can be and it breaks my heart at times.
I get so mad when someone white like me implies that I should not be with a black man.
"WHAT".
I say "what is he not human" because what the hell has color really got to do with it.
It is only a bloody color.
People always bring up the past when that is all it is "the past.".
Just because our ancestors (what ever color) may have behaved in a disgraceful way does not mean that we are going to follow in their foot steps.
We are not them.
Treat others how you wish to be treated.

I do not think about race. I could care less about color of someones skin.

If everyone one else who do the same maybe we could think of ourselves as Americans in the US instead of trying to identify ourselves as a color. What the hell would we do with ourselves if we were all just purple?

We probably look to see who was a shade lighter or darker. Geeze Louise.

Can we get past the whole race thing.
