uh, actually, the Bible is the best all-time selling book! i don't mean this is a bad way, but i am a Christian and it means a lot to me. but, if ur looking for a good book in fiction, try bridge to teribithia. it is sooo much better that the movie- i promise. also, i love the eragon books! they're really neat! oh, and try the clique! it's a really funny series! and if u like mysteries, try some of Avi's books.

The problem is the taste in fiction or nonfiction, you want a best seller but asking people with different ideas. What might think is the best the next person might think is crap. You read a book and decide.

there is Dan Brown's Da Vinci Code,
there is Harry Potter
There is Lord of the Rings (immediately after the release of the movie)
then there are controversial books like the God of Small Things,
there is The Alchemist
there is Salman Rushdie's Satanic Verses.
There are autobiographies...there was Bill Clinton's My Life,
etc...
