My friend shipped me a beautiful mosaic picture frame that she had gotten in Italy for my 18th birthday. Unfortunately a few pieces of the mosaic broke off along with some grouting. How do I fix it ?

You can scrape the grouting from that area of the frame, and the back of the broken off tile. Butter the back of the tile with some new grout and apply the tile back in place. Once the tile has dried in place, re-grout over and around the reapplied tile. Wait awhile for it to set up.Wring out a wet sponge and remove the grout from the top of the tile. You can get small containers of ready mix grout in the craft stores.

You can go to most hardware stores... and SOME drug-stores and find small jars / tubs of grout for small kitchen repair jobs.

With luck, you can find a matching color... then clean the area that is broken... TEST fit the broken tiles... then apply alitte grout, press the tiles in, and wipe clean.

Good Luck !!

Mariner31 sounds the wisest. Or glue them in (Elmer's if it's a wooden backing, Epoxy or super glue if it's metal or other) and then use the grout he suggested.

Good luck !

Punch or drill a hole thorough both pieces of cardboard (the stand, and the slide in, or fixed cover with door) Feed a piece of string, ribbon, etc. through the holes. Tie a knot, glue or tape the ribbon/string inside the cover, close it up... Then adjust your stand and tie another knot to hold it in place!

If there is big pieces you can glue it. But if they are to small you have to buy a new one unless your really good at puzzles.

that depends on how many pieces it broke into and how small the pieces are. if there is only a few pieces super glue them together. otherwise, you will probably have to buy a new one.

If all else fails, take it to your local hobby store and ask someone there...don't buy a new one, though, that won't be necessary.
