I want to get this comp http://www.extremetech.com/article2/0,1697,1825693,00.asp but i want to upgrade from a 8800gts to a 8800gtx oh and while im asking can I upgrade form 2gbs of ram to 3 or maybe 4?

Well since you will be buying the parts individually, you can pretty much buy whatever you want. The 8800GTX will work with that motherboard, and it will support 4GB of RAM, so go ahead if you want. To expand on what the last guy said, Vista comes in a 32 bit and 64 bit version, so if you do get 4GB of RAM, make sure to get the 64 bit version.

There's really no problem upgrading video cards as long as you have the $$ for it. If your motherboard supports PCI-e and you want a PCI-e graphics card, it'll work.

As for upgrading RAM, stick with 2GBs. Windows Vista is a 32-bit system and won't recognize much more than that. It'll just be a waste.
