Blazing Saddles - pretty much all of Mel Brooks movies are the best comedies ever. Why? Everything about this movie is just wrong, and completely hilarious. I love how everyone is made fun, not just a certain group of people.
The Ref - with Denis Leary, Kevin Spacey and Gina Davis. Why? A family who pretty much hates each other brought together by a fast talking criminal... Funny stuff.
The Toy - Richard Pryor. WHy? Richard Pryor is the King of Comedy. Most of his movies were hilarious and his standup was even better. Eric Bates: "I forgot to figure your weight in the turn." .... And what can be funnier than a boss names Master Bates??!!
The Princess Bride... Classic. Everyone knows this movie, no need to explain.
There's Something About Mary... Fricking hiarious. Nonstop laughter.
The Jerk - So stupid its funny. I love Steve Martin.
Sorry... Impossible for me to name just one.

I am going to have to say - uhmmmm - this is hard because I love movies but The Breakfast Club - I know it word for word and have seen it a few 100 times.
Why? it reminds me of my high school years - not only because I am similar to one of the characters, but also because the separation in High School groups is right on the money. It takes a group of people who would not normally associate with each other and throws them into a room hating each other and they walk with a better appreciation of of oone another.
Besides it is just a all around good time movie.!!!

Rat Race...It was kind of a "sleeper" in the theaters, but we laughed so hard, we hurt when we saw it. I don't think there is a dirty word in the entire thing and yet adults can enjoy it as much as kids. It's very slapstick. But just a warning...it starts out kind of slow, but once they get in to the "race" it is non-stop funny.
