Author Syd Field's book called Screenplay is a good place to start as it clearly explains the structure of a screenplay.
Another way to learn screenplay structure is to time your favorite movies with a watch and write down the time that important events in the story occur. You'll notice a pattern develop among different movies and you can use this to guide your own writing.

Write. And try to meet the right people. Of course for them to give you job you have to write well in terms of grammar and spelling (use computer) and storyline. But knowing the right people seems to be the key to movie/tv industry today.
Dont set your intermediate goals to high. Start out realistic and try to write comercials and stuff for tv series or anything that has a bearing to your dream. This will raise your experience in the field and your understanding of drama and how to work in the enterteinment industry as well as help you knowing the right people. A humble beginning is better than nothing.
When youre meet the right people or gets email to them have a short movie script or a comercial script or a scene thats realy good ready for them to read. Its must be something that stands above or equals to the best things done. Work on it until its perfect. That story would be your model perm showing the right people what you can do. Good luck!

Get a cheap video camera. Write a screenplay, get friends to ast out and film it. If yo feel comfertable start writing a great screenplay and send it into different hollywood producers.
