What about Milly? or you could spell it as Millie too...Or Mills.
I guess the question is what you need the nickname for...for the internet? in which case it doesn't have to be close to your real name but you could choose some aspect of your personality or use your initials etc...
If it's for your friends and family, or even for little kids, it shouldn't be more syllables than your real name.

besides a nickname wich is taken from d word emily...u can have any other nickname also..like as my name..is not exactly..S.J..so u can also use some abbreviations...some short forms....
cos...emi,mi,etc, are like much related 2 ur name...n other nickname will give ur persona a charm...so chao!

I have a friend who's name starts with "E", so I refer to her as "E" sometimes.
Also word play on your last name can be good if it sounds like something else that your not offended by.
Or maybe you have a skill or interest, that can associate you to whatever it may be.

We need a little more to go on......besides, a nick name is usually a term of endearment and is supposed to "mean something" to you. Maybe you should wait and let someone who really knows you give you a nick name that really fits. Cheers.

you could do the usual ones like.
Ems e.t.c but depending on your interests personallity use things from that.. im Barticus. because i used to skateboard. the fisrt guy i used to work with second name was simpson and i was cheeky. and i love the quote I AM SPARTICUS.
try and use things like that.
