No. The great apes have 24 chromosome pairs (48 chromosomes) and we have 23 pairs (46 chromosomes).
If the chromosomes don't match in number it is impossible to interbreed.

No. Many incompatibilities. Different species. Different anatomy. Variability in genes. Besides, what self respecting monkey would wanna have sex with a human.

reproduction means producing fertile individual which would contribute their genes to next generation
during reproduction one set of genes comes from father and other set comes from mother and then pairing of dna(genes) takes place.
incase both interacting individual are from different species(man and monkey) their dna will not pair up.
pairing of dna is very important for production of a viable fetus. even if successful mating takes place it will give rise to defective fetus which may get aborted or will b a sterile individual with maximum abnormalities
take an example of successful mating between lion and a tiger giving rise to liger which is sterile though both lion and tigers have similar ancestory.
thus reproduction is not just mating put production of fertile individual

Usually, members of different species cannot successfully reproduce due to differences in DNA patterns, number of chromosomes, and immune system differences which recognize the tissues of one species as "foreign" and try to destroy them. There has, however, been one notable exception to this rule. Barbara Bush managed to successfully mate with one of the lesser monkeys, and their offspring have done surprisingly well!

I've taken that question before, in our biology class last 2nd year.my teacher said that you'll get aids if you'll try to reproduce with the monkeys. That's when 3 of the biologist have sex with the monkeys and then having sex with their wives they've got sex, they all got AIDS....
that's pretty curious of you......

i hear there are rumours in Africa of animals that are half-man, half-chimp and half-man, half-gorilla, but it's very unlikely and there's no evidence.
