Current DNA tracings of modern humans point to a small group of people (around 2,000) living in northern Africa. There may have been other groups most likely, but their progenitors never made it into the current stream. Then of course there's the fossil evidence of early man originating from Aftrica.

The Fertile Crescent which is the Middle East. The Bible says that Adam and Eve began there (present day Iraq) and as years went on, people just spread out beyond. Native Americans originally came from Asia across Alaska down to North and South Americas. People spread into present day Europe and Africa from the Fertile Crescent as well.
Hope that helps!

Closer to us than even Adam & Eve... After the Great Flood, only Noah, his wife, their 3 sons and their wives (8 in total) survived (by staying on the Ark).
So, if you believe the Great Flood was worldwide, and only the family of 8 survived, then everybody comes from one of Noah's 3 sons -- Japheth, Shem and Ham.

From Africa.
First remains of hominids and first modern humans (about 200,000 years ago) found there.
From there they spread into Asia and Europe, and then about 15,000 years ago crossed the Bering straits area land bridge to America.
About 2000 years ago the people in SE Asia started voyaging into the Pacific and peopled the isles there.
The last place they reached was New Zealand, about 1000 years ago.

We were seeded by a race of aliens who were dying out. That's why Vulcans, Klingons, Terrans, and Romulans all look pretty much alike except for minor physiological differences.

God made the people and placed them on Earth(Or even made us here on Earth...) Adam was never one man, Adam= humanity. God made us as we are and placed us where we were meant to be. Africans were Africans, American Indians were American Indians, and Caucasians were Caucasians!
