Hands down a grizzly.
Rattlers overall tend to stay away from water, most even are more of a dry climate or forest species. Though they are swift in the water when they do swim (could beat a grizz in speed), they tend to remain on the surface. However had you picked a different species of snake, say a water moccasin, the bear would have lost.
With a lion, well though they do venture into water from time to time and have the ability to swim, well they just tend to be a feline that stays away from water.... unlike say a tiger or fishing cat.
With a grizzly, well they LOVE water. They not only play in it but hunt as well. They do not have the skill of say a polar bear, but they are still great swimmers and would beat out a rattler or lion any day of the week. They would not beat a snake in speed, but on the surface or underwater they still have the skill.

Grizzly bear cos it can swim using the same technique that humans can.
a rattle snake doesn't have arms or legs to do this!
while the lion's maine would get in its face and obscure its vision so it would have a hard time swimming LOL

Yeah. Who the hell said that snakes can't swim. And the lion can be a female. But I have nothing to say about the bear. But I think that the Rattlesnake would swim the fastest.

Like the lady said a rattlesnake. A rattlesnake can go across water as fast as it can land. They float and move swiftly across the water's surface. I have seen them do this. I have also seen snake catchers take large ones out of their barrel and let them loose in large puddles to get moisture. The snakes attempt escape by going right thru the water in rapid fashion.

Interesting choice of animals to compare. A grizzly bear, because they wade through rapid rivers of Canada to catch Salmon when they swim upstream.

Rattle Snake ?
Rattlesnakes are adept at swimming and will take to water readily in order to pursue food, mates and refuge, and to escape harassment

I agree, it's the rattlesnake. The snake has no hair to drag down as resistance or weight against water.. it is streamlined.. and will be quick through the water, much more so then the mammals.
